Spring sunshine during the last week has cleared away much of the accumulated ice and snow in the Chester area. Although many coves and harbours are still ice-covered, we now see the fields and gardens reappearing under the strong March sun. Rain today may finish off the last of the snow.
Springwood pink and a golden heather are among the first plants to show up in this seaside garden.
